We are a small business based out of Honolulu, Hawaii, having started over 10 years ago with a mission to make quality ceramic knives affordable to the masses. Since then, we have expanded into cutlery and cutlery accessories.

Our in-drawer Bamboo Universal Knife Block allows you to keep all your favorite knives within arm's reach, but out of sight, freeing up precious cooking space on your counters. Unlike traditional countertop knife blocks, this innovative drawer insert measures H 17" x W 7.125" x H 2" to fit most standard drawers.

Thanks to each slot measuring 1 /8 inches in width, you can store up to 15 knives (depending on handle size) including steak, utility, bread, chef, boning, carving, and paring knives. We have listened to customer feedback and concerns, taking steps to improve the knife block's design. The angled slots with wider openings allow for easier handling and storage of your sharpest blades. Additionally, the increased 2 inch depth better accommodates knives with large or curved blades and handles.

The Shenzhen Knives brand is committed to using high-quality, sustainable materials like real bamboo, which is an eco-friendly alternative to traditional hardwood trees. Harvesting of hardwood trees contributes to deforestation, starting a vicious cycle of drought and environmental decline. In contrast, bamboo is a grass that regrows after harvesting, and can be harvested every single year for the life of the plant.

Interestingly, harvesting bamboo to make products is actually greener than not harvesting it. Untouched bamboo forests do not accumulate and store carbon very well, as the culms (poles) do not live as long as hardwood trees. By harvesting the bamboo to make long-lasting products before it starts decaying, we ensure that the stored carbon is not released into the atmosphere.

In our creative process, we sketch and create prototypes, then test them with real people.
